BETTE DAVIS REAVEALS THE SECRETS OF HER BATH

Bette Davis, the talented star of the motion picture "Marked Woman," agrees with the results of the questionnaire survey which was sent out in America to men all over the country. The questionnaire revealed the fact that what men most admired in women was that " well-scrubbed " look. Baths are beauty treatments, Bette says,' and girls who depend solely on showers are missing the most enjoyable and effective part of a beauty routine. Miss Davis, whose own well-scrubbed look is one &f her charms, has a rather elaborate bath ritual, which she goes through daily. If you want to look your best at all times (says an exchange), you'll try it It starts with a few drops of bath oil in the water. This new product is being put out by most cosmetic companies in any scent vou prefer. The

water should be as hot as you can stand and you will want plenty of suds. Scrub briskly with a rubber sponge, and then relax for as many minutes as you can spare. And while you are relaxing, if you want to take a further tip from Bette, you will be massaging your face with your favourite cold cream. The steam from the bath combined with the cream will bring on a natural glow. When you step out of the bath, after drying with a thick towel, a brisk rub down with eau de Cologne, and finally attention to elbows, hands and heels with a good hand lotion, make you feel fine. It takes longer than a shower, but a look in your mirror will be all the reward you'll need. You'll glow and you'll feel as dainty as a daisy.
