A meeting of the Pride of Mornington Lodge was held on Thursday evening when a fair muster of members greeted A.D Bro. Quam. Routine business was speedily disposed of ana arrangements were made for next lodge night, when the Juvenile Council's honour board will be handed to the lodge • At 8.15 the officers -ad members of Court Excelsior, A.0.F., were admitted and welcomed bv the A.D. The evening's entertainment took the form of a bowling tournament the winners being P.C.R.'s Bros. Simmons and Patton, who were presented with small prizes. C.R. Bro. Cunningham thanked the lodge i'or its hospitality. Lily of the Valley Lodge held its fortnightly meeting, on Wednesday a* an early hour in order that routine business could be disposed of before admitting and entertaining women friends. A.D Bro Fowler and M.C. Bro Carolin were appointed as delegates to attend a special meeting called by the district president -f No 2 District. An invitation forwarded by Enterprise Lodge fo) members to make an official visit at its next meeting was accepted, and it was accordingly decided to meet early the following lodge night so that this could be noneSick pay amounting to £8 10s was passed for payment together with the usual monthly accounts. After all tht business had been satisfactorily oealt with, the lodge adjourned and the visitors were admitted. A progressive euchre tournament was held, and al the end of an hour and a-halfs play the prizes were presented to the winners by A.D Bro. Fowler.
