BELL.—On October 25, 1937, at her residence, Stirling, Helen Bell, formerly of Waitati; in her eighty-eighth year.—The Funeral will leave the above residence, To-morrow (Thursday), 28th Inst., at 2 p.m., for the Balclutha Cemetery.—'W. Lovie, undertaker. CHRISTIE.—At Auckland (suddenly), Alex. Bruce Christie, third son of the late Alex. Kerr and Margaret Bruce Christie, York place. CRUST.—On October 26, 1937, at Dunedin, Jessie, daughter of the late Henry and Jessie Crust. Private Interment. ELLIOT.—On October 25, 1937, at his residence, 5 Grater street, Maori Hill, James, beloved husband of Agnes Elliot. Private Interment. —R. McLean and Son, funeral directors. HARBROW.—On October 23, 1937, at Dunedin, Raymond, infant son of Walter and Lucy Harbrow, Lochend, Tomahawk; ■ aged 2 days. Privately interred.—Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors. McMASTER.—On October 25, 1937, at Spar Bush, Southland, Jessie Davidson, relict of James McMaster and beloved mother of Mrs J. Wallace, Timaru, and Mrs Fletcher, Spar Bush; aged 84 years. MARSHALL.—On October 26. 1937, at her daughter’s residence, 447 Main South road, Caversham, Mary Annie, dearly beloved wife of William Marshall, Outram; in her seventy-second year.—The Funeral will leave the above residence on Thursday, the 28th inst., at 1.15 p.m., for the West Taierl Cemetery. Service in West Taieri Church at 2 p.m.—R. Campbell and Son, funeral directors. PHILP.—On October 25, 1937, at the residence of her daughter (Mrs Owens), 103 North road, North-East Valley, Jane, relict of Samuel Philp, and loved mother of Mrs Spedding (Dunedin South), and Mrs Halning (Wanganui): in her ninetythird year. TOWLE.—On October 26, 1937, at her residence, 27 Montague street, North-East Valley, Nora, dearly beloved wife of John Henry Towle; aged 72 years.
