TOWN HALL DANCE
The ballroom of the main Town Hall will be the scene of an especially bright dance on Saturday night and, as usual, there will be continuous dancing Jock McCaw's new swing band will again feature the tango and the rumba., and the popular radio vocalist, Mr James McFarlane, will be at the microphone. The third semi-final of the Otago Dancing Championship will be held, and all semi-finalists are asked to be in attendance with their same competition numbers. Owing to the amount of interest that is being taken in this competition, arrangements are being made to enable intending oatrpns to reserve their seats for the final on November 20. Carnival novelties will be distributed, and there will be a special broadcast by 4ZM. The circle will be open to spectators at a small charge.
