Homily, going well, beat Pandava, covering four furlongs in 49Jsec, while Jewel beat Conway and Politiessa. doing five furlongs in lmin 2Jsec. On the course proper, with the hurdles 30 feet out, Silver Standard beat Bristol. Mestoravon, and Gay Knight over nine furlongs in 2min. Hua easily beat Cultra, doing a mile in lmin 45jsec. Allunga beat Royal Step, covering a mile in lmin 44£sec. Sarcherie ran a mile in lmin 48sec. Mala, looking well, did 10 furlongs in evens. Courtcraft ran nine furlongs in 2min sJsec, the last five in lmin ssec. Genetout and Stevenage ran an excellent six furlongs in lmin 17sec. At Mentone Floodtide beat Panax over a mile and 20 yards in lmin 44sec. Willie Win beat Mascardes and Lochlee over 10 furlongs in 2min 15Jsec, doing the last mile and 20 yards m lmin 44sec.
