POPULARITY OF ENGINE-DRIVEN MODEL AEROPLANES A petrol-powered model aeroplane constructed by Mr J. Welsh, a member of the Otago Model Engineering Society, which has made a success ul trial flight of six minutes. It has a wing span of 64 inches and is driven by a one-six i horse-power engine. These engine-powered models are becoming increasingly popular throughout the Dominion.
