THE SOUTH ROAD SEWAGE DRAIN

TO THE,ELITOR Sir,—ls it possible for the powers that be to have the South road sewer pushed on just a little faster? It is a very sorry sight to see such a number of men* doing very little work. Even the school boys are heard talking about the way that time is wasted. And it is causing a great inconvenience to the shopkeepers and to the traffic on such a busy thoroughfare. I can now quite understand why the ratepayers turned the £IOO,OOO loan proposal down. It would be a sin to have that amount frittered away without the ratepayers receiving value for the expenditure.— I am. etc.. Attaboy.
