ANTI-BRITISH BROADCASTS MEASURES FOR CHECKING LONDON, Oct. 24 Reynolds’ News says that, with a view to checking anti-British radio propaganda, the Government in future will control the Daventrv transmitter using it solely for broad casting the British viewpoint in English and in foreign languages. It adds that this will involve scrapping the Empire broadcast service but the opinion is expressed that the dominions are now well equipped with their own broadcasting services and the corporation will have more monev for home programmes THE EMPIRE SERVICE A REPORT DENIED LONDON, Oct. 24.
