Likes Grass Tracks Helen’s Bay shows her best form on grass tracks, and so will probably be found shaping well at Oamaru on Monday. Brilliant Sprinter Waipahi is a brilliant sprinter, and will have a very big following if reserved for the Electric Handicap at Oamaru to-day. Gerfalcon One of the most promising young trotters in the Dominion is Gerfalcon, a four-year-old by Wrack from Nantwich. He should develop into a really high-class trotter. Winner at Gore Waitemata. the winner of the Balfour Trot at Gore on Saturday, is a four-year-old mare by Wrack from Fortune Chimes. She is one of W. Cosgrove’s team. Ginger Jack The Jack Potts gelding Ginger Jack has a fine turn of speed, and the meeting between him and Toorak in the Dash Handicap at Oamaru to-day should create more than ordinary interest. The Champion Indianapolis is an acceptor for the fast sprint at Oamaru to-day. It is nearly a year since his last race—the Free-for-all—and he has not scored a win since his third Trotting Cup last November.
