BRIDGE CHAMPIONSHIP
THE CONTRACT CAME Eight teams from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin will contend this week-end for the annual New Zealand contract bridge championship, which is being held in Wellington. The preserit holder of the championship is Christchurch. and the representatives of the Otago Bridge Club to take part this year are Messrs R. Mathieson. T Ful'on. G. B. Wilson, and Dr H Finlay. A local championship for contract bridge and for auction bridge will be held next month in Dunedin. under t'.ie auspices of the Otago Bridge Club. Any team of four players may enter for either contract or auction. It is expected that a representative entry of bridge players will be obtained. Further particulars will be advertised.
