SOUTHERN FOOTBALL CLUB
SPORTS' MEETING HELD A large number of players and supporters of the Southern Rugby Football Club attended a pleasant outing on Sunday at Company Bay, the junior teams being the guests of the club. A committee, under the control of the president (Mr W. I. Pearson) and Mr H. W Alexander, club captain, made the outing a successful one. The sports results were as follows:—Fifth Grade: S. Moreton 1, H. Chatterton 2. Third and Fourth Grade: D. Blagdon 1. R. Garbutt 2. First and Second Grade: C. Inglis 1 L. Hill 2, Married Women; Mrs Andrews 1, Mrs Harley 2. Single Women; Miss Harley I, Miss Bolton 2. Club Championship: E. Bolton 1. H. Simon 2, T. Wallace 3, Committee Race: First heat—W. J. Pearson 1, E, G. Prebble 2, H. W. Alexander 3; second heat —J. Galbraith 1, W. Inglis 2: final H W Alexander 1
