CRICKET CLUB The annual meeting of the Port Chalmers Cricket Club was held last night, the president (Mr D. A. Middleton) occupying the chair. There was a god attendance of members. Moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, the president congratulated the club on its good performance during the season. He mentioned that it vvas hoped to get concrete practice wickets laid down in the near future. The report and balance sheet were adopted. ..»,,« , _i A motion that Mr J. H. Crawford be made the first life member of the club was carried. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr A. Campbell, M.P.; president, Mr D. A. W. Middleton - vice-presidents —Miss K. Hannon Dr A. Roy Messrs J. Hope, E. Tohill, G. Wilson, E. Harraway, R. Bews. E. Tiffany; secretary and treasurer, Mr T Wilson; assistant secretary and treasurer Mr B. Braithwaite; auditor. Mr J. H. Crawford; selector, Mr C. Campbell; club captain, Mr H. Nelson; deputy club captain, Mr W. Braithwaite; trustees, Messrs T. Armstrong and N. Dodds; committee—Messrs J. Hutton, L. Jack, B. Braithwaite. G. Russell, C. Campbell, H. Hutton. G. Ellis, S Underwood; delegate to Otago Cricket Association, Mr T. A. Armstrong; delegate to S.P.A.. Mr T. A. Armstrong; delegate to Junior Club Committee. Mr L. Jack.
