A disgruntled client shot and killed a former Assistant Attorneygeneral, Mr Elliott, of Illinois, stabbed in the abdomen another lawyer, and injured two stenographers; then surrendered to the police. Mr Elliott was preparing a summons for the assailant in connection with a 10,000-dollar damage suit at the time he was killed.
