YACHT BREAKS LOOSE
FORMER CUP CHALLENGER ADRIFT IN THE ATLANTIC NEW YORK, Sept. 15. A wireless message from Mr T. O. M. Scpwith states that Endeavour I, while being towed to England, broke loose last night approximately 200 miles east of Long Island, and is still missing. CUTTERS SEARCHING BOSTON, Sept. 16. (Received Sept. 16, at 11.30 p.m.) The coastguard cutters Cayuga and Dhelan left on a search for Endeavour I, which broke loose on Tuesday night, 200 miles east of Long Island, when being towed to England.
