FORTY-HOUR WEEK
THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY CONVENTION SECURES ADOPTION GENEVA, June 22. The Textile Convention, which is meeting at the International Labour Office, carried a motion adopting a 40-hour week for the textile industry. The convention secured the necessary two-thirds majority by 88 votes to 41, Thirty-eight delegates did not vote.
