HIGHER PRICES FAT CATTLE There was a total yarding of 325 fat cattle penned at the Burnside stock sale yesterday, the quality being much on a par with last week. From the outset of the sale, prices were 15s to 20s in advance of last week’s rates, and the sale remained firm throughout. Quotations were as follows:—Prime heavy bullocks, £l3 17s 6d to £l6 2s 6d; prime bullocks, £ll 12s 6d to £l3 2s 6d; medium and light bullocks, £7 to £lO 10s; prime heavy heifers, £8 17s 6d to £lO 7s 6d; prime heifers, £7 2s 6d to £8 2s 6d; medium light heifers. £4 2s 6d to £5 17s 6d; prime heavy cows, £8 17s 6d to £lO 12s 6d; prime cows. £7 2s 6d to £8 12s 6d: medium and light cows, £4 17s 6d to £6 17s 6d.
