UNABLE TO MAKE VISIT
DUKE AND DUCHESS OF KENT SESQUICENTENARY OF NEW SOUTH WALES LONDON, June 18. The Australian Associated Press is able authoritatively to state that the Duke and Duchess of Kent will not visit Australia for the New South Wales sesquicentenary. The position, as stated previously, is that no precedent exists for sesquicentennial visits, which, if undertaken, would impose obligations which the Royal Family would be unable to fulfil.
