FILM STAR'S DEATH
MISS JEAN HARLOW SIMPLE PRIVATE FUNERAL HOLLYWOOD, June 8. Miss Jean Harlow will be accorded a simple private funeral, attended only by relatives and a few of her closest friends. The service will be held at 11 a.m. to-morrow at Glendale Church. This is due to the desire of her mother and her stepfather, who wish to forestall demonstrations by great throngs of curious people such as saw Rudolf Valentino when he lay in state, and which greeted the train carrying his body across the continent. It is believe'd that Miss Harlow's salary was 4000 dollars weekly, and her estate is estimated at 1,000,000 dollars, mostly in insurance policies and annuities. Her mother is expected to be the principal heir.
