NEW ZEALAND PRODUCTS
TRADE WITH THE EAST SUGGESTED MARKET IN INDIA (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 9. Lieutenant-colonel W. T. Fletcher, legal adviser to the Indian Army, southern command, arrived by the Wanganella on a five week's visit to New Zealand. Owing to his official position. Colonel Fletcher had not much to say. but Mrs Fletcher remarked that' they had already visited all the other British dominions and had found New Zealand the most difficult about which to obtain information. She thought a large number of people in India would be able and willing to visit New Zealand if they could get adequate information about shipping, etc She thought also there would be a demand for New Zealand products in India if regularly supplied, and she raised the question of a trade representative in India.
