INFANTILE PARALYSIS
CASE FROM COUNTRY DISTRICT (Per United Press Association) INVERCARGILL, June 9. A boy aged three has been admitted to the Southland Hospital from an outlying district suffering from a mild form of infantile paralysis. This case and that of a boy from Lochiel are the only cases known to have occurred in Southland for many weeks. According to the Health authorities, an odd case or two may occur for some months yet. but a fresh outbreak of the disease is extremely unlikely.
