FAREWELL TO LEADER
BRITISH CONSERVATIVES RECOGNITION OF SERVICES (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, May 29. (Received May 31, at 5.5 p.m.) It is stated that a representative body of the Conservative Party will take its farewell of Mr Baldwin at a meeting on June 24. At the outset a resolution of thanks to Mr Baldwin for his services to the party and the nation will be passed and afterwards he will be presented with a bound volume containing resolutions of appreciation which party organisations have submitted for the purpose.
