FIGURES FOR THE MONTH DECREASE IN BIRTHS A decrease in births during the past month, as compared with May, 1936, is revealed in the vital statistics for Dunedin, the figures being 110 and 120 respectively. There were also 13 fewer deaths, but marriages showed an increase of four, 55 having been registered last month as against 51 for May of last year.
