Whenever we think ot Iceland shivers run down our back, and we instinctively think of temperatures hovering around the 40-below zero mark. But the facts are that the average winter temperature is 20 degree? above zero. In summer the thermometer ranges from 63 to 73 degrees. While the Welsh baritone, Mr John Covering, was singing at a banquet in London recently, he emitted a loud high G, which shattered a wineglass on a distant table. Only two singers have ever done this before, Caruso and Folio, the Irish tenor who adopted an Italian name.
