H.M.S. ACHILLES
ITINERARY OF WINTER CRUISE (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 31. The detailed programme has now been completed for the annual winter cruise to the Pacific islands by H.M.S. Achilles, the flagship of Rear-admiral the Hon. E. R. Drummond. The cruiser will leave Auckland on June 12 and will travel as far afield as Honolulu and Fanning Island returning to Auckland on August 27 The itinerary of the Achilles is as follows:—-Leave Auckland June 12: Sunday Island June 14: Nukualofa, Tongah group, and Samoa. June 1G to 30; Danger Island July 1. Manahiki and Rakahanga. July 2; Penrhyn Island, July 3: Malden and Starbruck Islands July 4; Christmas Island. July 5 to 8: Panning Island. July 9; Honolulu July 13 to 27; Fanning Island, Julv 31: Christmas Island, August 1: Nukunono. August 4: Rotumah, August 7; Lautokn, August 9 to 13: Suva, August 13 to 23; return to Auckland. August 27.
