"SOLD BY THE LABOUR PARTY"
TO THF KDITOH Sir,—Dr M'Millan has openly professed his belief in Socialism. Would he inform us whether he is a Syndicalist? My reason for asking is that the view that Mr M'Comish says Dr M'Millan expressed amounts to the advocacy of Syndicalist principles applied to Parliament. Our City Council's action in appointing workers' representatives on council committees is a mild application of the same principle. It is said that Dr M'Millan believes that any industry should be controlled by the rank and file taking part in it. If so, surely he is a Syndicalist. Would Dr M'Millan give a definite statement as to whether he is a Syndicalist or not?—l am, etc., British Democrat.
