TWO TEAMS DEFAULT There was only one senior hockey match on Saturday, University D defaulting to Technical Old Boys, and Training College to High School Old Boys. Albany played Collegiate on a very soft ground at Tonga Park, and won by three goals to one. ALBANY v. COLLEGIATE At the commencement of the game between Albany and Collegiate, Rennick and O. Dey opened up an Albany attack which was staved off by Felton. Boocock secured, however, and returned the ball to his forwards, who kept Collegiate penned behind the twenty-five for some time. Several corners resulted, but ball control was not easy on the poor surface, and all attempts to score went astray. Finally. Brebner cleared well down the field, and play was transferred to the other side of the halfway line. Felton secured from a roll-in and sent on to Wellington, who tested the goalie, D. WOMEN'S GAMES OTAGO v DUNEDIN Otago met Dunedin at Logan Park and the game proved a fairly fast ex hibition. although not of a high standard. Olago attacked for the greater part of the game, but the defence of the Dunedin team was equal to most occasions. Dunedin's goal-keeper (J. Anderson) gave a very creditable display while the wing halves fP Sturgeon and D Kennedy) acquitted them selves well.
