A Statement, regarding the* Waikato .Valley Dairy was made by Sir Francis Frazerj deputy chairman of the-Executive Commission of Agriculture. H. M'Kenzie (New Zealand Co-operative), seconded by Mr J. Cotter (Hinuera), it .was resolved that the companies support the principle of the supplier having a choice of one or other of the nearest two factories; two factories within a distance of seven miles to be regarded as one unit. ■ \' It was further agreed" that the provisions of the dairy factory supply regulations, ,193(5, under which a supplier is required : to supply cream for three years, to the purchasing company, 'should.be waived and that former suppliers to the proprietary companies should be' entitled, subject /to rationalisation of boundaries to be fixed, to transfer their supplies to another company between June 1 and July 31 in any year.
