SHORTAGE OF GRAIN
GERMAN ECONOMY MEASURE STALE BREAD TO BE USED LONDON, May 27. The Berlin correspondent of The Times says that, owing to a shortage of grain, Herr Frick has ordered that 3 per cent, of stale bread may be used by bakers in making up new loaves, but they must be mixed up to prevent its being visible to the naked eye.
