DUNEDIN COURSING CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Dunedin Coursing Club was held last Monday evening, Mr H. T. Payton, in the absence of the president (Mr B. S. Irwin), presiding over a good attendance of members. Moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, the chairman congratulated the members on their work in erecting the plumpton, but stated that it was unfortunate that weather conditions were against the successful running of the sport. Mr J. L. Columb endorsed the chairman’s remarks in seconding the motion, which was passed unanimously. It was resolved that a letter of appreciation be sent to the Forbury Park Trotting Club for the use of the park for coursing meetings. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the retiring secretary (Mr E. R. Brown) and Mr H. F. Payton lor the use of his office for meetings. Two new members were elected.
