INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS
ELECTION OF COUNCIL (Per United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 17. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Institute of Architects the following members of the council were elected unopposed:—South Auckland. Mr H. L. White; Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne, Messrs H. E. Phillips and F. H. Forge; Taranaki and Wanganui, Messrs T. H. Bates and R. G. Talboys; Wellington—Messrs E. H. de J. Clere. J. M. Dawson and H. C. Morton; Canterbury—Messrs B. J. Agar, W. H. Trengrove and G. D. Griffiths; Otago, Messrs E. S. C. Miller and A. L. Salmond: Southland. Mr A. C. Ford. In the election for council members for the Auckland district the elected candidates were Messrs S. S. Alleman, J. Park and L. S. Piper. The president will be elected at a meeting of the new council to-morrow.
