SUBSTANTIAL INCREASES (British Official Wireless) RUGBY. Feb. 5. There was a further substantial increase in the weight of letter air mail carried from the United Kingdom last year. Traffic on Empire services increased by 33 per cent, while that to Europe showed an increase of 179 per cent The large increase in the European traffic was largely due to the decision taken m March last to send first class mails to Scandinavian countries by air without surcharge
