The Ashwick Flat meeting was held in the school, with Miss Whatman in the chair. Two letters were read from the Hollygrove " link " in England. The motto, "By looking happy you make others feel happy, was prepared by Miss Gallagher, who was thanked by the members. It was decided to form a Magazine Exchange Circle. A report on the half-yearly federation meeting was presented by Miss Gallagher. Mrs Mackenzie gave a demonstration on the bottling of fruit. The competition results were:—Bloom: Miss Whatman 1, Mrs E. W. Allan 2, Miss Parker 3. Toffee: Mrs G. E. Jones 1, Mrs Williams 2, Miss Gallagher 3. Cotton frock: Miss Gallagher 1, Mrs Williams and Mrs G. E. Jones (equal) 2. Mrs A. Bray was the hostess.
