THE WEATHER
The weather yesterday was fine with bright sunshine throughout the day. There was a light breeze from the north-east, and the temperature rose to 70 degrees. The barometer fell slightly to 30.14. REPORTS FROM THE NORTH (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. .5. There was fine summer weather to-day, with a* light southerly wind and conditions warm. The evening was fine. The barometer had fallen slightlv to 30.10 inches at 6 p.m. WELLINGTON. Feb. 5. The weather to-day was fine and clear, with a light, cool south-east-erly breeze. The minimum temperature last night was 49.7 degrees and the maximum to-dav 62.2 degrees. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 5, The weather to-day was sunny, clear and warm, with a moderate N.E. breeze in the morning and s fresh E.N.E. in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 62.3 degrees. The barometer is steady at 30.17 inches.
