CONTRAST IN ENGLAND A BISHOP’S DECLARATION LONDON, Feb. 3. The Bishop of Chichester, contributing an article to the diocesan gazette, says: “ Vast sums are being spent on the Coronation. Simultaneously there is lack of a constructive plan to help the unemployed. The contrast between wealth and poverty will be more keenly felt than ever if the splendours of the Coronation are allowed to grow so lavishly while the unemployed continue to be neglected.”
