TOUR OF WEST COAST (Per United Press Association) GREYMOUTH, Feb. 4. The Minister of Mines (Mr P. C. Webb) completed his tour of the Iriangahua quartz field to-day. He expressed the hope that further lodes would be revealed by the present prospecting efforts. To-day he visited the State coal area and discussed with the Miners’ Union the terms of the new agreement. He subsequently stated that the main matters would be referred to the National Coal Conference on February 25. The Minister made reference to the Improvement in the coal trade, and the increased use of Dominion coal by gas companies. He asked the big users to liberate every possible ton in winter and build their stock up in the summer. No Government could allow the stocks to become depleted.
