SWISS GOLD RESERVES
DEPOSITED IN CAVES (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) GENEVA, Jan. 5. As protection against a surprise invasion Switzerland’s gold reserves of £125,000,000 have been removed from the Zurich National Bank secretly and deposited in several specially-prepared caves in various parts of the Alps. Simultaneously large quantities of arms and ammunition were transferred to alpine storehouses.
