AGREEMENT ON WAGES

LOCAL BODY LABOURERS (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 3. The wages question, which has been holding up progress in the dispute of local body labourers and builders' contractors' and general labourers, was settled this afternoon. Casual general labourers will receive 2s o:,'d an hour, and workers engaged in constructing scaffolds, doing tunnelling work, sinking shafts, or using popper drills or explosives, 2s 3 : jd an hour.
