POLAND'S POPULATION
LARGE ANNUAL INCREASE (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Dec. 2. (Received Dec 3, at 5.5 p.m.) In the House of Commons the Foreign Secretary (Mr Anthony Eden) said the Polisn Foreign Minister, on his recent visit to London, while expr ssing himself as fully alive to the difficulties of the situa tion in Palestine, referred to the large annual increase in the popu lation of Poland and the problem? by which the Polish Government was faced as the result of the restrictions placed on immigration by those countries to which Polish nationals used formerly to emigrate.
