BLUE UNIFORMS FOR TROOPS KING SUGGESTS ALTERATION LONDON, Dec 2 The King received an officei and three men of other ranks wearing the blue uniforms to be worn by the troops at the Coronation It is understood that his Majesty suggested a beJt of navy blue webbing instead of leather, and the contractors were instructed to Drepare - new model. A party of journalist? who were invited bv the War Office to see the uniforms were told that they could not be seen owing to an unforeseen hitch The press was later told that the uniform was not vet approved INSURANCE TRANSACTIONS LONDON Dec. 2. Lloyd's has increased from 20 guineas per cent to 25 guinea? the rate against postponement of the Coronation from the appointed dav but there is little busin-ess owins to the underwriters' books being abso lutely full.
