BOWLING

MIXED RINKS TOURNEY SECTION TIES COMPLETED The mixed rinks bowling tourney, which is conducted annually by the Otago Ladies' Bowling Association, was commenced at Logan Park yesterday, when four rounds and section ties were completed. Twelve rinks were engaged, games in the rounds being of 21 heads, with a time limit of one hour and a-half, and in the post-section play of seven heads. A Mornington rink skipped- by Mrs Walker, and Mrs Adess's St. Kilda rink, emerged the winners of their respective sections, and will meet in the final on Logan Park green on Wednesday afternoon at 2.30.

DOMINION TOURNAMENT The secretary of the Dunedin Bowling Centre has been advised that the railway and steamer concessions to bowlers going to the New Zealand Bowling Association tournament in Wellington in January will be the same as last year, and that the concessions will commence on December 28.
