A juryman summoned to Brighton Quarter Sessions recently was so big that he failed to get into the jury box. Efforts were made to assist him in, but the task was found to be impossible. The recorder (Mr J. D. Cassels, K.C.i saw the man's difficulty, and discharged him from service. A Shetland pony, named Dot. of Harby, near Grantham, has died at the age of 50.
