EVENING MEETING Although brief, the programme of athletic and cycling events put on by the Dunedin Amateur Cycling Club at the Caledonian Ground last evening was an interesting one, more especially as encouragingly good fields faced the starter in practically every race. Three limit-mark riders came forward for the competition for the Paterson Cup. which is given annuallv to the man registering the best time for a flying half-mile. The best figures were turned in by R. Wilson, who covered the distance in lmin 15 2-ssec, and will thus hold the cup for 12 months. The President's Cup Handicap was won by R.
