Holmlea has been fixed to load here to-day for Wellington, New Plymouth and Port Walkato, via ports. Walplata Is now due here to-morrow from Bluff and Is to sail Hie same day for Wellington and Auckland, via Tlmaru and Lyttelton. CANADIAN HIGHLANDER COMING The Canadian Highlander Is to leave Halifax on December 21 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedln. She Is due at Auckland on January 27 and at Wellington on February 1. RUAHINE FROM LONDON The Ruahlne has. advised the New Zealand Shipping Company by radio that she expects to reach Wellington this morning. THE JAMES COOK Having discharged the Dunedln portion of liar cargo of Australian hardwood, the steamer James Cook sailed on Saturday evening for Lyttelton and Greymouth to complete. THE SYDNEY MARU The motor vessel Sydney Maru, which is due here on November 30 and at Auckland, the final port, on December 10, is now scheduled to make a call on the upward voyage at Noumea. BENHOLM IN PORT From Montreal, via northern ports, the Benholm, running under the auspices of the M-A-N.Z. Line, arrived here yesterday. Sh« will complete discharge at this port. PAKEHA LOADING The Shaw, Savlll and Albion steamer Pakeha arrived at Port Chalmers yesterday to continue Homeward loading^ TRANS-PACIFIC STEAMERS Owing to the shipping strike at L'nltc:l States Pacific coast ports, the Union Company now proposes to make the following loading arrangements for the freighters Limerick and Cape Horn: — The Cape Horn, which arrived at Vancouver on November 15, will now load at that port anl Ocean Falls, Powell River and New Westminster. She will proceed on December 3 to San Francisco and Los Angeles, where she is to complete loading for Papeete, Beauty Point, Melbourne and Sydney. If prevented by the strike from loading at San Francisco, she will bunker at San Pedro after leaving Vancouver, and will thence sail direct for Beauty Point. Melbourne and Sydney. The Limerick, due at Vancouver last Wednesday, Is to load at New Westminster.
