WOOL FOR CANADA
PRIVATE SALE AT FIFTEEN PENCE 2000 BALES DISPOSED OF (Per United Press Association) GISBORNE, Nov. 21. The sale of 2000 bales of Gisborne •wool for export to Canada has been effected privately at 15d per lb for fleece wool, this price comparing with the top price last season of under one shilling. Many inquiries aro being made in the district for private purchase of wool, but most growers prefer to await the auctions, tha deal referred to being the clip of one grower.
