Gale Is due here this morning from Bluff and Is to sail this evening for Wellington and Wanganui, via ports. Walpahl sailed yesterday afternoon for Oamaru, Tlmaru and Lyttelton to continue loading for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. MAHIA LATER Murray, Roberts and Co. advise that the Mahla lias been delayed at Auckland. Her Itinerary will now be: Wellington, November 22-25 ; Lyttelton, November 20-30; Dunedin, December 1-3; and Tlmaru, December 4-7. THE JAMES COOK The James Cook Is expected to complete discharge of the local portion of her cargo of Australian hardwood to-day, and Is to sail for Lyttelton and Greymouth. TbNGARIRO IN PORT The Federal steamer Tongarlro, from Liverpool, via northern ports, arrived at Dunedin yesterday morning to complete discharge and commence Homeward loading. She Is to sail on Tuesday for Opua, Auckland, Wellington, and Napier to complete. | PORT WHANGAREI FOR SUVA Under charter to the Union Company, the Port Whangarel Is to leave for Suva on December 4 to load for Auckland. ORANGEMOOR PROM SEYCHELLES The steamer Orangemoor Is reported to have left Seychelles Islands for Auckland on November 6. She Is expected to arrive about December 26. PERSONAL Captain J. B. Allsop Is to- take command of the Chatham Islands steamer Tees, which Is to recommission at the end of this week. NAVIGATION WARNING The Marino Department advises that Rautaro Spit, Aratunga anchorage, Altutaki, Cook Islands, In position 303 degrees, 8 cables from Observation Spot, lat. 18 degrees 52 minutes b., long 159 d roes 47 minutes W. (approximately), Is extending In a 340 degrees direction and Is now approximately 200 yards from the edge of the reef. Within the extension In an approximate position 306 degrees 8.8 cables from Observation Spot, the m.v. Matua recently struck and dislodged a coral outcrop which carried a depth of about 10 feet at the time. In view of this Information and the probability of other changes having taken place, masters are advised to use caution when working the anchorage. SHOAL LOCATED Mariners are advised that a rocky shoal of small area with ' a least depth of five fathoms, M.L.W.S.. has been located In a position 136 degrees, four cables from Flat Rock light, Haurakl Gulf, lat. 36 degrees 27 minutes g„ long. 174 degrees 36 minutes E. (approximately).
