For a very easily-made and longwearing pillow slip, buy circular cotton, cut the icquired length, allowing for a two-inrh hem all round at each end. They Irok especially dainty if hemstitched. Sew tapes at each end and the slip is finished. The advantage of a slip which is minus a seam and open at each end, is that it can be used so that it will wear all round instead of in one place. The part where the head has rested can be folded next time the slip is laundered, and the previous fold then becomes the centre Slips made in this way last twice as long as those made in the usual way.
