MODERN DANCE HALLS
A SOURCE OF TEMPTATION THE METHODIST VIEWPOINT (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 20. The appointments of modern dancing halls, the sensuous music, the very late hours, and, often as not. the practice of drinking in and around the halls and cabarets, all constitute grave moral perils which young Christian people should resolutely avoid. This opinion was expressed in a recommendation adopted by the Auckland Methodist Synod. The question of dancing was the subject of a lengthy debate, and varied viewpoints were expressed.
