KING’S HIGH SCHOOL
IMPROVEMENTS TO GROUNDS GRANT OF £896 APPROVED (From Our Parliamentary Reportei?) WELLINGTON, Oct. 16. The Cabinet has approved of a grant of £896 for the purpose of effecting ground improvements at the King's High School Advice to this effect nas been received by the Postmaster-general (Mr F. Jones) from the Minister of Education (Mr P. Fraser) In a memorandum to the Otago High Schools’ Board some time ago the Director of Education (Mr N. T. Lambourne) stated that, taking into account the departments proposals for additional buildings, the following accommodation would be available at the school next year;—Nine classrooms, one art room, two science laboratories, one woodwork room, and a library The additional accommodation was provided for by a grant approved at the end of August.
