JARROW UNEMPLOYED
A MARCH TO LONDON PETITION TO BE PRESENTED LONDON, Oct. 5. Carrying an oak casket containing a petition with 11,572 signatures pleading for work in the Jarrow shipyards and heavy industries, which is being presented to Parliament, 200 unemployed started a march to London. The Bishop of Jarrow blessed the marchers, who are accompanied by medical students, a cook and a barber.
