ARTS BALL

The forthcoming Arts Ball to be held in the Town Hall next Thursday is said to be creating a great deal of interest. What to wear is the one topic of conversation. Just the other day one well-known lawyer who intended going as Mark Antony discovered that his typist was going as Cleopatra. He has now added a halo to his costume and is going as St. Mark. A preview of the ballet revealed that the form displayed was excellent, and the decorations are said to be outstanding. In order to avoid overcrowding, the committee has decided to limit the number of tickets sold. For the benefit of those who would like to watch the proceedings, a limited number of seats are being reserved in the gallery, the box plans for which will be opened at the D.I.C. on Monday
